Neanderthal: the mystery of Bruniquel Cave

Who went 300 metres inside a cave at the Aveyron ravines to build structures made from more than 400 broken stalagmites? When could it have happened? And, above all, why? Since the discovery of the cave in 1990 by a young speleologist from Tarn-et-Garonne, this surprising architecture has never given up its secrets. In 2014, a research team decided to go back to Bruniquel Cave to solve the enigma once and for all. For 4 years, we follow their investigation. We went where a camera has never been able to go before, where no visitor will ever be able to penetrate. Alongside the researchers, we were present at one of the most important archaeological discoveries of our era. Neanderthal man has turned out to be a hero.
