Helena Horta, a specialist in the analysis of pre-Hispanic designs, is currently investigating the meaning of the decoration of the different objects used by the ancient inhabitants of the Salar de Atacama for consumption of hallucinogenic substances. Her analysis has allowed her to make progress in understanding the cosmovision and beliefs of these people.
