El Castillón

El Castillón is an enclave located on the banks of the river Esla, in the province of Zamora. Archaeological findings to date have highlighted the importance of this enclave, located on the border between the Suebi and Visigothic kingdoms, showing the development and evolution of this village between the 5th and 6th centuries A.D. The research carried out has focused on two fundamental aspects: scientific work and dissemination.
