Delhaye, Claude

This documentary shows us the way of working of Jean-Claude Golvin, a well-known architect and archaeologist who was dedicated to the restoration of archaeological sites using a technique which combines scientific reconstruction and artistic talent.

After six centuries of existence, the tower of Vincennes, a medieval building which is unique in Europe, is going to be restored as part of a singular project. The film allows us to see all stages of the process, including the archaeological excavation prior to the intervention.
