The geoglyphs of Nazca, those fabulous vestiges of a civilisation lost a long time ago, have withstood the passage of the centuries without revealing all their secrets. More than 2,000 years ago, the inhabitants of the pampas drew geometric lines, gigantic drawings and built monumental cities. Who were they? Who were those enigmatic figures that could be seen from the sky? Who were they for? What was their purpose? For more than a century, researchers have been trying to solve this mystery. Some believe that they are maps of the heavens, others claim that they are astronomical calendars, or even landing strips for extraterrestrial ships. But, until now, none of those theories has been proved.
